TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registration and booking for all our progames shall at one point in time require a 30% deposite. The balance of the cost of your trip to be paid 35 days before arrival date in the low season march to June and Novermber to Decemebr and 45 days before arrival date in the high season. payment in full are required when payments are made.
CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW FEE
Cancellation received by Maxwell tours before 45 days to arrival date are subject to no cancellation fee while cancellation received less than 45 days to arrival date will be subject to the following cancellation fees:-
45-30 days 25% of the safari price 29-15 days 50% of the safari price 14-0 days 100% of the safari price
Please note that there is a minimal non refundable administration fee for handling all the safaris programs. This fee is 10% of the deposit.
LUGGAGE PERMISSIBILITY
The safari rate include the transport and handling of one piece of luggage per person not exceeding a total of 23 kilograms. Luggage is limited to 1 standard size bag on safari due to space on the domestic lights in the van and road conditions most hotels have left luggage lockers for excess luggage.
INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking that one has adequate travel insurance cover plan from home for the entire duration of ones stay in east African. This plan should be designed to provide financial protection in a number of circumstances that can force you to cancel or interrupt our safari, loss or delays luggage, medical assistance and hospitalizations.
Liability Maxwell tours acts as an agent of the passengers in all matters relating to tours and it accepts no responsibility for any personal illness, injury, death, accidents, delay, loss, damage or irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control including without limitations acts of negligence or breach of contract of any third part such as hotel, airline, who does supply any goods or services for the safari. Maxwell tours will not be liable for any losses or expenses due to delays or change in schedule, overbookings of accommodations, fault of any third party sickness, weather, strikers, acts of God. All such losses or expenses are to be borne and paid for by the passenger and claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the respective country courts where the incident happens. The company will not be held liable for loss or damage of personal effects.
UN CLAIMED SAFARIS
Refund will not be made for any missed safari service or claimed portion of the program. Adjustments will not be made for un claimed trips or meals. It is understood and agreed upon those refunds will not be made to passengers who do not complete the safari for any reason whatsoever howsoever.
ALTERATIONS
Maxwel tours reserves the right to change programs of the path or cancel the operations of a safari sold conditions call for. It reserves the right to decline/request the police to retain any person as a member of any safari of any time and to pass on the safari member any expenditure or loss occasioned by delay.
